| GENERAL FAQ'S Q: How did your product come about, and are you a trader, or do you just market software products? A: Yes, I'm a full-time Trader! Since the early stages of my trading career, I've been consumed with my own personal trading statistics. I started building a simple spreadsheet to record all that I desired to know about my own trading behavior. "Many" months (and tweaks) later it was recommended that I try selling it to other aspiring traders. I asked a trusted trading partner if he saw true value in what I created, or if he thought the idea was just crazy. His answer was a resounding... "Yes!" (to both questions).
Q: Official name? A: The Forex Trading Journal SpreadsheetTM, or TJS, comes in 7-different market formats; all customizable to track what's important to you. To view "all" TJS products, visit the main site: www.TradingSpreadsheets.com
Q: Do you provide customer service for your products? A: I actually take great pride in making sure each and every client is completely satisfied. After all, I'm still giddy with delight every time a trader chooses my product. Why would anyone do any less than their best efforts to ensure complete customer "happiness"? Q: Are Updates Free? A: Yes, (same version) updates are always free!
Q: What about Refunds? A: Due to the nature of the product and type of download, I can't accept refunds.* Please know that I will do everything possible to make sure you are happy and satisfied with your purchase, both now and into the future!

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS Q: What version of Excel can I use? A: Any version beyond (and including) MS Excel 2002 will be able to fully utilize the program. Excel for Mac can also be used.
Q: Can I use the following spreadsheet apps with the TJS? Google, MS Works, OpenOffice Calc or Apple iWork (Numbers '08 / '09). A: Unfortunately not, only Microsoft Excel versions 2002 (and newer) will be able to have full functionality of the product(s).* * I cannot support or troubleshoot any purchase not intended to be used with Microsoft Excel.
Q: Are there any other requirements? A: Please know that Laptops and screen monitor sizes of 17" or smaller (especially CRT) will have a harder time viewing the application as originally intended (as the top-portion of the Trade-log sheet is Frozen). You'll just need to Unfreeze that section, then scroll in/out to see the sheet. Instructions are included on how to quickly to this. Tip: using the highest screen resolution size your system allows will give you optimum viewing results.
PRODUCT SPECIFIC FAQ'S Q: Is this spreadsheet easy to operate? A: Yes, it really is simple. Just start entering your trades into the Trade-Log section of the Market-Module, then all of the (complex looking) Performanct-trackers will start populating on their own. "Read-me" messages are located in strategic locations in case you need additional Instructional Hints & Tips!
Q: What if I trade the same 'Market' from more than (1) account. Do I need to make a multiple purchase for the same product? A: Not necessarily. You can always track all of your account activity on 1-sheet however, you may wish to have individual sheets to keep each account activity separate if you plan to "track" their performance (and equity-curve) results separately. If so, you'll need a modification - you can still access everything from 1-file, (but will just need an additional Market-Module and Monthly Journal Tab). Contact me with what you need and I'll invoice you, then remit your very own customized product to you. (The cost is $20 per account).
Q: Does this program reside on my hard-drive or your server? A: It's an MS Excel (.xls) file that resides on your own hard-drive, which can be stored on any digital medium and taken 'wherever' you go.
Q: Can I purchase any of the sheets separately, or must I purchase the entire package? A: The only sheets currently being sold on their own are the "Expectancy Calculator and Drawdown" sheets.
Q: Are my trades automatically included in the monthly performance calculations? A: No, the Trade-Log sheet is cumulative and does not know when each month has ended. However, additional Trade-Log sheets (ie. Weekly, Monthly, etc.) can be added to get a more "custom" tailored and personal Spread`Suite. I have chosen to fit this model for the masses, as everyone's excel knowledge is a bit different. However, if you would like something custom, please contact me and if I can perform the task (and have the time), I will give you a quote.
Q: Does the Forex Trading Log calculate the P&L in US Dollars (or my own currency)? A: It tracks Quoted P&L. There is a Currency-Conversion feature built in to the product to convert to USD (Converter only works for USD, but sheet can still be utilized by converting Quote/Term Currency yourself). The sheet also calculates the amount of PIPS gained or lost on each trade as well.
